The Department of Family Services will be taking public comment on their Child Care Development Fund 3-Year State Plan beginning May15, 2021 through June 15, 2021. There will be 2 opportunities to provide public comment on the proposed plan, Tuesday, May 25, 2021, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Thursday, May 27, 2021, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Public Notice is hereby given that the Department of Family Services (DFS) intends to amend the following rules: Certification of Providers of Substitute Care Services, Chapters 1-4, 7, 10, 11 and 14. Proposed changes can be viewed by clicking here. The proposed changes will be available from May 24, 2021 through July 14, 2021.
The DFS Advisory Council operates in conjunction with the Department of Family Services (Wyoming Statute 9-2-2106). Its mission is to provide program support, guidance, advocacy, feedback and act as a liaison to the department, functions which are guided by the department’s own mission statement. Most members are appointed by the Governor to serve three-year terms. The Senate President and Speaker of the House each appoint one member from the legislative body.
