April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

On Monday, April 10, 2023, representatives from the Governor’s Office, the Division of Victim Services, Safe Harbor, the Department of Family Services and others “planted” pinwheels in the Capitol Lawn to raise awareness of April being Child Abuse Prevention Month. The “planting” of pinwheels represents unity and awareness of child abuse prevention.
